This programme is designed to help you get the best out of your people.

You will also learn the art of motivating different and at times difficult personalities.
You will understand how to measure and manage productivity and key outputs.
As part of the programme you will learn how to deal with difficult deviant or undermining behaviours and much more. In short, you will learn how to “shepherd your flock” towards excellent outcomes.
Topics Covered
The seminar involves a mixture of tutorial style lectures, interactive discussions and a range of detailed case studies which we will work through in groups to flesh out the concepts and issues discussed in the programme.
Day 1
- Understanding basic concepts of team work; how to use STEAMS formula to get your team working as a team.
- Creating the environment and eliminating the opportunities for negativity.
- Seven key steps for setting the code of conduct.
- Recruiting the right people for your culture and workplace environment.
- Six steps for getting awareness, involvement and commitment into your corporate values vision and culture.
- Numerous case studies will accompany the topics as outlined.
Day 2
- You will understand different personalities and what their respective motivators are.
- You will also understand how to get the best out of someone and when to avoid their “cold” buttons.
- You will understand your own communication style and develop strategies for dealing with different individuals.
- “I feel undervalued by my organisation…” How to help employees feel that they are a value and contributing member of the team.
- Designing reward structures.(Monetary and non monetary) to ensure long term commitment.
- Understanding why people leave jobs for “greener pastures” and how you can retain your top performers.
- Understanding the 20/70/10 rule and why it’s important to get rid of people with negative attitudes.

Outcomes
