Overview
Social Intelligence is simply defined as your ability to ‘relate’ to others. During this course you will assess your own social style and learn how to work with other social styles. Socially intelligent people are comfortable with others from different backgrounds, ages, cultures and social strata. They make people feel relaxed and comfortable around them. This two day course explores five distinct dimensions of competence required to be socially intelligent – situational awareness, presence, authenticity, clarity and empathy.

- Revealing how honest and sincere you are with people and with yourself, in any situation
- C = Clarity
- Ways to express your thoughts, opinions, ideas and intentions clearly
- E = Empathy
- Exploring ‘toxic’ behaviours versus ‘nourishing’ behaviours and learning skills to build empathy
- Practical ways for assessing and developing your Social Intelligence focusing on an understanding of your own dominant social style and how to flex to connect with a variety of styles
- Considering Social Intelligence in the world of work – it’s place in organisational structure, culture and positive politics
- Viewing the importance of Social Intelligence and conflict by working through the Five Steps to “Yes”
