Leigh Harris
A qualified broadcast journalist, Leigh has worked as a TV presenter, reporter and producer/director. She has a thorough understanding of all facets of media relations, including what constitutes ‘news’, and has practical working knowledge of newsroom operations and reporters’ requirements.
Since forming Convergence Communications, a national PR and marketing consultancy, in 2001 Leigh as worked with a range of local and national clients assisting them to achieve their publicity outcomes. Drawing upon her journalism background she specialises in preparing clients for live interview situations and has undertaken numerous one-on-one and group media training workshops.
Previously she was the Communications Manager for international brand marketer, Wools of New Zealand, where she was responsible for stakeholder communication and communicating with international staff and media.
