Marty Perkinson
Marty Perkinson is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand and has a Master of Commerce Degree and a Diploma in Teaching. He has taught at The University of Auckland since 1971 and won the inaugural Department of Accounting and Finance Teaching Award in 1993. He recently retired as the Director of the Diploma and Degree Awarding programmes in Executive Programmes at The University of Auckland.
In 1994 he was awarded one of the University of Auckland Distinguished Teacher Awards. Marty has owned a number of businesses and advises clients on income tax and business planning. His humorous approach to budgeting makes this potentially dull subject interesting and easy to understand. Marty has taught our "Understanding Accounting" and "Budgeting" Short Courses several times and always receives exceptionally strong reviews from participants.
