Rob Verkerk
DipBus, MBA, PMP (Project Management Professional) is currently an active consultant in the fields of project and programme management.
Robert has more than 25 years experience in professional project management, both managing projects and managing project managers. He has established professional services operations and managed new product development projects to introduce consulting and services products, including portfolio/programme management services products and a range of professional services products around project management, information systems services and electronic document management products and services. He has spent several years managing new product development projects in the telecommunications industry and in the food and beverages industry.
Robert has been teaching project management and associated courses at The University of Auckland since 1990. He has taught very successfully on the Short Course programme and across a range of qualifications, including MBA and DipBus, and in a wide range of disciplines, including Operations Management, Information Systems Management, Health Services, Arts Administration, Research and Development, Law, central and local Government.
