Overview

Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is one of the most practical and effective set of communication and influencing tools in business today.  NLP is used extensively all over the world by professionals who seek more resourcefulness within their roles.  This is why many organisations in the UK, Europe and USA now require their managers to have an understanding of NLP.

What is NLP?
In short, NLP is a series of tools which work at ‘how’ people achieve their results.

It starts with recognising the fundamental truism that we're not all the same.  This affects our responses to a situation and the language we use.

The key to harnessing the potential in a situation is to recognise how people think, then communicate effectively in their ‘mode’.  Then we can build appropriate strategies for dealing effectively with interpersonal situations.

Topics Covered

This Short Course introduces NLP concepts and how to use these strategies in business to:

  • Establish rapport instantly
  • Read verbal and non-verbal communication and respond appropriately
  • Improve your persuasion, selling and negotiation skills
  • Manage your own resourcefulness
  • Clarify, manage and achieve outcomes
  • Deal with difficult situations
  • Deal with conflict (if it still occurs!)

This Short Course enables you to try out a range of strategies, then choose what tools you want to use.

Who should attend

Anyone whose role is to shape the attitudes, behaviours and skills of others, such as

  • Leaders
  • Managers – All departments
  • Team leaders
  • Sales people
  • Trainers
  • Business Analysts

Outcomes

Introducing NLP into your business will enable you to work and communicate much more effectively.  It will help you help others to achieve their outcomes.  And it makes achieving those outcomes for them and you much easier.

One of the benefits of this Short Course is that it provides useful strategies that can be applied instantly in your work and personal life.  Enhanced workplace harmony, better customer service, and improved family and personal relationships are all potential outcomes from this Short Course.

What Participants Say

"With a name like ‘Neuro-Linguistic Programming’ you may expect this course to be heavy on theory; nothing could be further from the truth. Nick Read demonstrates the important techniques artfully, and the cause-effect relationship can be easily seen and felt, on both the conscious and unconscious level. The relevance to both business and social situations is readily apparent."
